Curriculum vitae
I completed my medical studies at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University (Munich), the Universitas Miguel Hernández (San Juan de Alicante, Spain), and the Harvard Medical School (Boston, MA, USA).
I wrote my doctoral thesis at the Department of Infectious Diseases and Tropical Medicine at LMU Munich and spent several months in Mbeya (Tanzania).
I completed most of my training as a specialist in general medicine and infectiology at the University Hospital of Munich (LMU), as well as in two practices in the centre of Munich. I gained the “Diploma of Tropical Medicine & Hygiene” at the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine (Liverpool, UK).
I undertook additional training in psychotherapy at the ÄPK e.V. since 2015 and got approved by the responsible medical committee in 2024.
My continuous scientific work has taken me to South America and Africa in particular as part of international projects. In 2018, I finalized my postdoctoral thesis to qualify as a university professor at the medical faculty of the LMU Munich in the field of “Infectious Diseases and Tropical Medicine”, where I continue to teach and was appointed adjunct professor in 2024.
In 2024, I opened my own practice in the centre of Munich.
